I dunno, you wait three years for a follow-up to a brilliant album and then two beautifully packaged 12”s turn up at once. This year we were blessed with new music from the mighty Linkwood after an extended radio silence following the 2015 Expressions LP, and it was well worth the wait. The Night Theatre 12” explores 4/4 terrain with two long and deep jams for late-night dancing manoeuvres, while the Firecracker 12” adds Detroit-style electro and beatless ambience to the mix. Strong stuff from an artist whose sonic identity is becoming ever more refined and distinctive.
His out put is very low. Wonder why? This is great by the way.
