I’ve been involved with music since the mid-90s as a DJ, producer, promoter, writer and label owner. I ran Headspace Recordings and its sister label Emoticon from 1997-2006, and since 2014 I’ve been one half of The Nuclear Family, alongside Laurence Hughes.

I started this blog in 2013 to celebrate some of the older tunes from my record collection, from overlooked gems to underground classics. Over the past couple of years I’ve also been spotlighting some newer music and sharing some of my DJ mixes.

As with most creative projects that have to fit around a day job, it’s been a slightly sporadic affair until now, but you can probably expect some more frequent updates as this strange year unfolds…
