This saucily-titled number comes from Erik Van Den Broek, an underrated Dutch producer who released under a bewildering number of pseudonyms in the mid-90s. I possibly lose some purist credentials for having it on the ace Beyond The Sun compilation rather than owning the original 1994 12” on Shiver Records, but regardless, it’s a cracking example of Detroit-indebted Dutch techno whose warm chords could have just as easily come from the studio of Carl Craig or Stasis. Not everything he recorded has dated quite so well, but on the strength of tracks like this and the equally great Illogical, he deserves to be up there with his countrymen Orlando Voorn and Steve Rachmad, in my book.
