An epic slice of widescreen sci-fi techno from Dutch DJ, producer, architect and all-round dude Steven Brunsmann, first released on Newworldaquarium’s NWAQ label back in 2003 and revisited a few years later.
There’s been a huge amount of brilliant music from Amsterdam’s Aroy Dee/M>O>S/NWAQ/Delsin camp over the past 15 years or so, but this is one of the real standouts for me. It’s one of those rare, deceptively simple tracks that completely nails the combo of ethereal pads, driving drums and hypnotic bassline with no dip in energy – in fact if it’s dropped at the right moment it’s got the potential to blow the roof off. Close your eyes and turn it up.
